In 2011 a challenge has been laid before us. Will we mature and grow in the love of Christ? The only way for that to happen is for us to go to the source. Listed below is a 1 year plan to read through the entire bible. Many of the texts are closely connected with the sermon series, so make sure you keep up. God does not want us to find him and then sit still, he wants us to continue to grow and mature, just like children. This is just one tool to make that happen! Here are a few helpful tips to make you reading a little more focused:
1. Find a quiet place to read where you won't be interrupted.
2. Before reading, pray this short prayer: "Lord God, speak to me through your Word today.
3. After reading your chapter, sit still for just 5 minutes to think it over and consider what would be one thing from today's reading that stands out to you. What does it s say to you about your life and God?
